Happy Thanksgiving 2011

Today is the 24th November 2011 and its Thanksgiving Day primarily in the United States.
Though Thanksgiving is not celebrated where I am from, I do have a lot to be thankful for. I wish to take this opportunity to give thanks for the many things I am grateful for.

I thankful firstly to god, for his blessings, for giving me strength and for bringing all the great people I have in my life that I am proud to call Family and Friends. I am thankful for my family : Mom, Dad, Dirk, Daryll & Kimberly for all their continuous support they have given to me.I need to single out my mother for just a bit, I am extremely thankful for her. She has always been there for me, both as a friend and a mother. I don’t know if I would ever be the man I am today if she wasn’t around or if I was raised by someone else. She thought me the value of hard work and because of this I accomplished something I never though was possible.

Great friends are hard to come by and so I am thankful for the few that I have, the ones that are there to support you and help get you back up when you are at the lowest point in your life. I am thankful for Joel, Farzad, Rocky and Alana. You all have been there for me always and that is something rare. I am thankful also for Videsh, Nirmala, Nalini, Ricardo and Miranda for the impact they made in my life over the last two years.

I’m not just thankful for the good things and the good people in my life. I have to be thankful for the bad and the negative things also because with it, I learn, I hope and I Dream.
